Greetings and salutations. This page is to be used as a resource for teachers in the classroom. As this Taxonomy site can be used directly in the classroom, a couple of lesson plans have been provided to get the best use out of the site. However, teachers, feel free to change them around to suit your needs.
This site is really good for students
finding out what all the biology terms mean. It is not a site to
find out names or such, but very good for understanding terms to do with
ecology, limnology, pharmacology, toxicology and medicine.

to go searching through the site to find exactly what they want though.

students finding out about their favourite animals. It's graphical,
it's got alot of information and it totally rocks!

This site is really helpful for teachers and students both. It provides teachers with heaps of activity ideas and ideas about what other teachers have done. Examples of games are online there too so that students can play them. Overall an excellent teaching/learning resource.
